Belle en rouge
I hike this trail in fall for the low foliage. Usually a unique mix of conifer green, fall yellow, spectacular red ... it has apparently been dehydrated over the summer into almost pure red. I go with it, rather than wish for other results.
Not terrible, right? Especially when there's some natural deadfall to give a monochrome element, counterbalancing the overage of color.
But those reds. Mother Nature, in red lingerie.
We see so much yellow. Orange. But red - now you've had an eyeful. Hope you all enjoyed.
