Once every 80,000 years
Caught a newspaper article talking about how to spot the comet. Turns out, you can pick it out between about 6:45 and 7:45 here, before it sets below the horizon. Just about a fingerlength to the west of Venus, very prominent in the skies right now, embedded in Libra.
Tripod, 3200 ISO, F8, fifteen or eight seconds (not sure which exposure the above is, either will work). Proc'd in Lightroom, denoised with Topaz.
Next up, to see if I can finally catch an aurora in NM ....
