The bachelor Loop

There are many massive wooden buildings along this route through the canyons and mountains around Creede, Colorado. Some you can access, some you cannot. But the drive is eminently worth it. If you're driving a non-4WD vehicle, do the drive 'backwards' so you're going downhill, rather than uphill. You'll never make it up the gravel steeps.
