Driving along gothic in autumn

I travelled to Crested Butte for the first time in the fall. The range of colors was astonishing, the subtleties of the bushes contrasted against the newly-stripped aspens. I did come back in the late springtime, and found the green monotonous by comparison - saying that is a sacrilege to some, but really ... autumn ruled for really compelling photographs.

The drive to Gothic is incredibly beautiful, with many different hikes available. Bring waterproof shoes, there are streams to cross.
